Paralakhemundi: Ariba of Kantagada Panchayat of Gosani block of Gajapati awarded as best Watershed Project in state level at Bhubaneswar.
Rabindra Kumar Sahu, Project Director of Watershed received coveted honour from Agriculture Minister on Krushi Odisha-2021 Program.
Enhancing for utility for water bodies project has an extensive role to support ayacutdar farmers. Indeed water surveillance has sustainable stand for those small & marginal farmers & even access for off farm activities too.
People’s decentralized management too a key role to keep sustainable existence & support for water users.

Lot of water resources are available where perennial water bodies can excel better livelihoods for small & marginal farmers pertaining flow of irrigation structures & need to carry out their sustainability.
Had it been carried out perhaps migration would have eclipsed. Not only line departments of irrigation but also interest from farmers neeed as better co-relationship & understanding to make small water harvesting structures for irrigation.
