APPROCHING KUMAR PURNIMA-2021 GAMBLING DEN BUSTED IN BERHAMPUR, 17“JUADI”ARRESTED

BERHAMPUR: Gosaninuagaon Police here on Sunday arrested 17 veterans (Juadi) on charges of gambling.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team of Gosaninuagaon lead by IIC Sumeet Soren conducted a raid at location of Khajuria Bypass near Chandra Chudeswara Temple here in Berhampur city and arrested the 17 gamblers from spot.
According to IIC, Gosaninuagaon, on receipt of credible information a raid was conducted by our team at Baikuntha Nagar on Sunday and arrested 17 gentleman in gambling. The raid we made in connection to an illegal gambling source which all they admitted. We have recovered Rs 1,48,585/-/- from their possession. In connection a case already registered at our Police station.
While informing about the raids, SP,Pinak Mishra said that a team of Gosaninuagaon police conducted raids after getting a piece of information about the gambling den. Cops also seized Rs 1,48,585/- lakhs along with bikes and mobile sets from the possession of gamblers.
