ANDHRA MEN HELD FOR FISHING IN RUSHIKULYA RIVER

BERHAMPUR: As many as eight fishermen from Andhra Pradesh were arrested by the Forest officials for allegedly fishing in Rushikulya river mouth in Ganjam district.
According to DFO,Berhampur,Amlan Nayak said, a trawler and 260 kg of fish have been seized from their possession.from our intelligence input our official apprehended eight fishermen in connection of illegal fishing. Notably, fishing and similar activities have been banned in the Rushikulya Rriver mouth by the Odisha Government instruction.
