AMID COVID-19,BN PUR POLICE ORGANISED BLOOD DONATION CAMP

BERHAMPUR:The BN Pur Police staff members has come ahead with a novel initiative to organise unique blood donation camp here in Berhampur city on Thursday as the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the blood banks across the state.
Bikram Panda,Honable’MLA,Berhampur joined a Chief Guest and inaugurated the camp with huge donerrs.
Joining the function addl SP,PK Mishra said, “As the Police is always one step ahead and ready to help the needy, we are organising blood donation camp at all PS wise.Citing reference two days back our Berhampur Town PS organised a camp and collected a remarkable units.I am sure this move will motivate other voluntary blood donors to come forward. However, safety, security, and guidelines are a must for everyone.”
Today in camp was arranged with the support of Blood Bank authority and arond 31 units of blood was collected,according to Medicial officer.
Joining the function Berhampur SDPO,(City),Mr B.Pati said,Blood donation is an essential requirement and our SP,Mr Pinak Mishra has instructed to all police station to hold blood donation camps but maintaining social distancing.
Speaking to scribe Mr Sarada Prasanna Dash,IIC,BN Pur PS said, the major secret behind to arrange such Blood Donation Camp majorly count a quantum of inspiration from our SP,Mr Pinak Mishra.
Many youths and Police personnels , all BN Pur Police station staff members have joined this camp and took active participation as well encourage the mission.
