Ambulance Service Launched by IMFA to boost 24X7 mobile health service

Rayagada, December 3: With the objective of providing emergency healthcare services to the people of the Therubali area, a new ambulance was formally launched by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation(BIPF), the corporate social responsibility wing of IMFA. Along with the inauguration of the new ambulance, the delivery of healthcare services in the area has received a fresh boost.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Therubali Sarpanch Mamata Pulaka, Khedapada Sarpanch Narasingh Kilaka, Dumuriguda Sarpanch Manik Pirbaka, Kartikguda Sarpanch Rina Kadraka, Keliguda Sarpanch Sushanti Kutruka, Kolnara Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairman Haladhar Himirika along with Samiti members and other representatives. The Chief Guest, Kolnara Block Development Officer Rina Pradhan, inaugurated the free ambulance service by cutting the ribbon and flagging off the vehicle. She highly appreciated IMFA’s public welfare initiatives.Among others present were Vice-President of BIPF Dharmesh Goel, Vice-President of IMFA, Therubali Ashish Kumar Roy, General Manager (Mechanical) M. Srinivas, General Manager (Supply Chain) Atanu Mishra, Deputy General Manager (HR & Administration) Kshitish Chandra Mahapatra, heads of all departments, IMFA Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bagmi Panda and staff members of the BIPF. The programme was moderated by the Asst.Manager (PR) Deepak Kumar Ojha along with his colleagues.

It may be noted that this free ambulance service was first introduced in 2018. To provide improved services to a local population of more than 12,000 people, another new ambulance has now been added. This ambulance will provide continuous free service day and night. Local residents praised IMFA’s public welfare efforts and expressed their gratitude to the IMFA authorities. The Programme Officer of BIPF Prabhakar Panda said that through this service, people in the local area will be able to access emergency ambulance services free of cost.
