All India United Trade Union Bandh call was successful in Rourkela

ROURKELA:  This Bandh call was initiated by all national Level Trade unions in association with regional trade unions against the famer’s bill challenging interest of farmers by central govt. under the leadership of Narendra Modi.

This Band call was for 24hours and in many places all commercial complexes, shops, petrol pumps, banks and other Govt. offices were seen closed. Large gathering by trade union leaders across the district had initiated the move to make this Bandh successful and in many parts they have sloganeered against the Central Govt. for their wrongful policies which is anti poor and farmers. The national Highway 520,143 and State Highway-10 were blocked by many trade union leaders resulting traffic jams and vehicles had parked on roads for long distance. Many workers of Congress party and leaders were also seen supporting this Bandh and extended their entire support against farmer bill passed recently. All small and big shops including shopping malls were seen closed in Rourkela even after 6pm.  Police deployment was adequate to take stock of law and order situation. Anyways nothing of that short had happened during this Bandh call.
