All India Handicrafts Exhibition 2022 : Appreciation for ‘ORUPA’s effort towards development of artisans of Odisha

Sunabeda: 25/10/22: In the evening programme of the third day of the All India Handicrafts Exhibition ‘ 2022 held at Sunabeda, Advisor of Semiliguda Press Club and Social Activist Shaik Ibrahim, participated as the Chief Guest . Speaking on the occasion Mr Ibrahim applauded the efforts of Odisha Rural and Urban Producers Association ( ORUPA) towards the social and economic development of handicraft and handloom artisans of Odisha. He expressed gratitude to ORUPA for the help and support provided to the artisans especially during the Pandemic COVID-19. Advisor of Ex-Servicemen’s Association Vijay Kumar Sahu joined the programme as Guest of Honour and discussed various program of ORUPA and wished for the success of the craft exhibition. Gajendra Majhi, Alaka Lenka and Babita Khillo – three councilors of Sunabeda Municipality were felicitated on this occasion. Taking part in the cultural program, Janhbi Achari and Sai Binith Achari performed dance items. Chief Executive Officer of ORUPA Ashok Kumar Sahu moderated the program while youth councilor Rabindra Kumar Pradhan and Dillip Kumar Suna supported.
