All India Handicraft Exhibition is organized at Sunabeda

Sunabeda, 22/10/2022: The All Indian Handicrafts Exhibition – 2022 has been inaugurated at Sunabeda. Koraput MLA and District Planning Committee Chairman Raghuram Padal inaugurated the exhibition as the Chief Guest. Sunabeda Municipality Chairman Dr.Rajendra Kumar Patro Vice-Chairperson Rutu Konta and President of Sunabeda Press Club Dillip Mohanty graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. Ashok Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer of ‘Arupa’ elaborated relevant information about the handicraft exhibition. President of Semiliguda Senior Citizens Association Binya Chandra Patnaik and a tribal jewelry artisan of Kotpad Brundavati Majhi, were felicitated on the occasion. The guests opined that by organizing such an exhibition, the artisans will be encouraged and the local residents will be able to find exquisitely handcrafted home decor items and household items by artisans from different parts of the country.’ Arupa’ organizes daily food fair and cultural programs along with drawing, music, dance, elocution and mehendi competitions for school and college children. It is reported that there are 30 stalls in the said fair. This fair has started from 21st of this month and will end on 6th of next month. The program was moderated by senior journalist Manoj Patnaik. The said program was attended by many prominent people of the area including the Councilors of the Sunabeda Municipality.
