ALL BIG CORPORATE AND CELEBRITIES ARE COMING FORWARD FOR PM CARES FUND

ROURKELA:To fight COVID 19 and other emergencies our PM, Narendra Modi has launched Prime Minister Citizen Assistance & Relief in Emergency Fund (PM CARES FUND) whereby people across the life should contribute funds which will be utilized to fight Corona Virus and in other emergencies. Since it’s a pandemic virus and has targeted the entire globe, taking thousands of lives. Many Corporate, film stars are coming forward to contribute for this noble cause. India has been united always in difficult times and does whatever is possible, so the same is seen now. Everybody is very much concern about COVID-19. As per the latest information till the time of reporting this news, India has a death toll of 25 due to Corona virus and COVID-19 positive cases are counting to 979. This unique idea PM CARES FUND was conceived by none other than our own PM, Narendra Modi. In this noble cause the first who came forward from film fratenity was none other than Akshay Kumar, contributed Rs.25 crore like he does every time in need. Film actor David Dhawan contributed Rs.30 lakh, Singer Guru Randhawa contributed Rs.20 Lakh, TV actor Arjun Bijlani contributed Rs.11 crore, Movie producer of Kabir Singh, Murad has also contributed Rs.25 Lakh, Cricketer Suresh Raina has contributed Rs.31 lakh. Big corporate have also come up like Uday Kotak has contributed Rs.25 crore personally and another Rs.25 crore for Kotak Bank, Motilal Oswal contributed Rs.5 crore, online payment giants, PAY TM and Phone Pe are pledging campaign for donations for this cause and aimed to collect Rs.500 crore and Rs.100 crore respectively. Many Central Govt. agencies like Railways and Airport Authority of India have decided to contribute one day salary for this cause. The corporate giant Tata Group through its TATA Trusts has announced its commitment to fight COVID 19 by pledging Rs.500 crore for Personal/ Protective equipment for the medical personnel on the frontlines, Respiratory systems for treating cases, Testing Kits to increase per capita testing, Setting up of modular treatment facilities for infected patients and knowledge management and training of health workers and the general public. From all these it is clear that, how tough we are and prepared to fight COVID 19 and always united for any emergencies.
