Administration taken stand for Orphan Children Rehabilitation in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi:Gajapati district administration has taken a belligerant move for rehabilitation of orphan children from all over district.
Under 5T this is a provision to rehabilitate to build future career of those vulnerable children.
As per Adolescent Act 2015 by the instruction of District Collector,Gajapati,10 centres opened to detect them.At the outset Anganwadi workers given responsibilities to survey those sections. Accordingly 525 such children identified from the district. Later on child protection unit staff are given responsibilities to identify the same.
On Tuesday a meeting held at Kashinagar NAC premises where BDO Kashinagar,Chairman CWC, Member of CWC,CDPO Kashinagar,staff of Child protection unit were present.
25 children from this group identified at spot.CWC Chairman appraised that way will be found out for their rehabilitation.
Among others Prava (NGO),who is dealing with child line; Supevisers & AWWs of ICDS with staff of child protection unit were present.
