ADAV High School Organises Awareness on Road safety

Sunabeda,(Koraput):In an effort to create awareness about road safety, Junior Red Cross unit of ADAV High School, Sunabeda conducted a program on Road safety measures at the school on 13th Feb’2021. Head Master of the school Manoranjan Pradhan along with JRC counselor Shaheda Parween and senior teacher Jayanti Bal explained the basic traffic rules to the students. Head Master Manoranjan Pradhan said that creating traffic awareness among students is very important as it makes them aware about the importance of their and others life. Students should come forward and follow these traffic rules obediently. Subsequently, an awareness rally was organised to spread awareness on the prevention of accidents and cautioning residents against their callous attitude towards traffic rules. Members of Junior Red Cross unit participated in the awareness rally holding posters displaying quotes of safety measures.
The rally passed through the main roads of the HAL Township and culminated to a road side meeting near the bus stand. JRC counselor Shaheda Parween addressed the audience, and said that the best way to keep others and yourself safe is to follow proper traffic rules.” It is important to wear helmet while driving a two wheeler and should always wear seat belt while driving a car and should avoid rash driving as fast speed is the core reason of accidents” she added. Art teacher Tapas Kumar Mallick extended a helping hand in organising the awareness rally.
