Achhi Aadat drive held in 12 Sates in the eve of International Hand Washing Day

Berhampur:PREM ,a leading NGO of Odisha, in collaboration with I.J.Kakehashi Service Private Limited (IJK) headed by its Executive Director Shri Sanjaya Panda with the support of JICA,a Japanese organization has organized a campaign called Achhi Aadat(Good Habit) in twelve states on 14thOctober 2021 and on the eve of International Hand washing day. The campaign has been steered by national level tribal people’s network (NACDIP) with support from PREM,IJK & JICA,a Japanese organization. The Achhi Aadat campaign denotes good habits with special focus on hand washing, nail cutting, using mask and keeping social distancing. The campaign simultaneously started in 101 locations of 12 States, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajshtan, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.Thousands of people’s especially children, Youth and women and including the elected representatives of gram panchayats are participating in the campaign.This has given a good message to keep clean of our surroundings and to keep clean ourselves during the time of COVID 19 pandemic. Similar campaign also done all over the states on 2nd October 2021.People of different states have expressed their thanks to Dr Jacob Thundyil,President,PREM and Shri Sanjaya Panda,Executive Director,IJL for their valuable initiation in this good cause.
