Accuse On STF net in Connection of Illegal Transportation of Narcotic Drugs

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, Bhubaneswar near P.N High School under Jatni Police Station Dist. Khordha against illegal transportation/possession of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended one accused person namely Bapi @ Mahendra Behera S/o. Manguli Behera of Ramachandrapur, Jatni PS. Jatani Dist. Khordha at present Nuagoan Regedi Basti, Bijkasnagar PS. Jatani Dist. Khordha.
During search Ganja 170 kg, one Maruti Swift Dezire Car and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from his possession. The accused person could not produce any document or authority for possession such contraband Ganja, for which he has been arrested and will be forwarded to the court. In this connection STF PS case No. 02/ 2022 U/s 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of NDPS Act 1985/ Sec.353 IPC has been registered. Investigation is on.
The above noted accused person was earlier booked in a Murder Case vide Jatni PS Case No.103/2010 U/s. 302/201 IPC, in which he was in judicial custody for more than 04 years.
Since 2020, STF in the special drive against narcotic drugs has seized more than 47 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 89 quintals of Ganja /Marijuna and arrested more than 121 drug dealers/peddlers.
