GOPINATH GAJAPATI BID ADIEU WITH STATE HONOR

Paralakhemundi:Gopinath Gajapati who died today morning at Apollo Hospital Bhubaneswar brought to Paralakhemundi Palace at evening.Alongwith his cartridge Princess Kalyani Devi his only Daughter accompanied.
The deceased body kept at Maharaja’s Palace for last views of his beloved people of Gajapati district. From almost all 7 blocks thousands mourners thronged to see their Late Maharaja at Palace. All arrangements being done with leading role of Collector Gajapati Mr.Anupam Saha & SP Ms.Sarah Sharma with vigil custodians among Police staff.
After formal Ritual at Palace Princess Kalyani Devi with chanted hymns from Priests crowned as Heir to occupy her Late Beloved Father’s place on her decorated Royal Chair.
Later on a sea-filled crowd joined on last journey of their Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati Dev towards their Maharajas’ Samadhi.
With Bigul Guns skied blank shoot by Armed Police Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati solemned by flashing lit pyre as last sermons by sandal woods.
Speaker of Odisha Assembly Mr.Suryanarayan Patra,Minister Bikram Arukh,MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, MLA K.Narayan Rao, Collector Anupam Saha, SP Sarah Sharma with all district officials & PRI Representatives presented to bid adieu their Legend Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati & even tearful eyes that thrilled voices with “Gopinath Gajapati Amar Rahe”.He was placed near the crematorium of Late Maharaja KCGajapati.
To pay Honor all shops & market closed today and proposed Gajapati Ustav that turned into Pallishree Mela postponed from tomorrow ie,11th January to 14th January 2020 instead of 10th to 14th January for the Deceased Maharaja.
