BERHAMPUR:On the strength of search warrant issued by Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur in Misc. Case No. 08/2020, (1) Triple storied residential building of Sri Udhab Padhy, Dy.Executive Engineer, R&B Sub-Division, Gunupur under R&B Division, Rayagada,Odisha located at R.C.Das lane,Komapalli, Berhampur (2) His Stone Crusher Factory located at Village Manikyapur near Dhorakote (3) His office at Gunupur (4) Govt. Residential quarter at Gunupurwere searched simultaneously on 24.12.2020 to trace the movable/ immovable assets possessed by Sri Padhy and his family members.
Enquiry revealed that, Sri Udhaba Padhy originally belongs to village Suramani under Surada PS in Ganjam district. His father was a retired Store Keeper from erstwhile ORT Deptt. Who expired in the year 2002.His mother Late Ramadevi Padhy was a house wife, expired in the year 1981. They are six brothers and one sister. The SO is the 5th along his brother and sisters. They all are married and staying in separate mess. His father was having about 4 acres of cultivable lands at Suramani Mouza which is in joint possession and being look after by his younger brother Sri Harihara Padhy.
After completion of HSC from Queen Mission High School, Berhampur in the year 1978, he joined in Engineering School, Berhampur now UCP Engineering School, Berhampur and completed diploma in Civil Engineering in the year 1982. He joined in Govt. service as a Junior Engineer on 27.11.1982 in Berhampur NH Division. In the year 1990 he was transferred and posted to Boriguma NH Section under NH Division, Sunabeda where he continued till 1992. Then he was posted to R&B Division Jeyopore as Estimator and continued till 1997. Then posted to RD Section Jeypore under RD Division Koraput, where he worked till 2002. Then he was transferred to RD Circle office, Berhampur as estimator JE in the year 2002 and worked there till 2004. Then transferred and posted to Dharakote RD section and worked there from 2004 to 2011 under RD Division, Berhampur. Then transferred and posted to R&B Section Ambadola under R&B Division Rayagada and worked there from 2011 to 2014. In the year 2014 he was promoted to the rank of Asst. Engineer and posted at R&B Sub-Division,Gunpur under R&B Division-II, Rayagada where he has been continuing till date. Now he has been promoted to the rank of Dy. Executive Engineer on 15.12.2020.
He married to Smt. Madhu Manjari Padhy, D/o- Kishore Ch. Padhy of Prem Nagar 1st lane Berhampur, Dist-Ganjam on 29.11.1985, who is a house wife. His father-in-law was a businessmen, his wife has three sisters and two brother. His wife is the youngest among her brothers and sisters. At the time of marriage his father-in-law had gifted me a finger ring and a gold chain. Besides his wife was also gifted with gold ornaments, house hold articles like bed cot and Almirah etc. and cash of Rs.52,000/- which was deposited in her account standing SBI Bazar Branch.
He has been blessed with two sons. My elder son Kanhu Ch. Padhy born on 2nd Feb’1987.My 2nd son Shyam Sundar Padhy born on 16.05.1990. My elder son Kanhu completed his matriculation from Irrigation High School Jeypore and +2 at Gopalpur College. He discontinued his study in +2 and engaged as a insurance agent for some time. In the year 2011 he entered in to business by erecting stone crusher factory at Manikyapur near Dharakote, Dist- Ganjam. I have financed my son Kanhu in establishing the crusher factory.
No loan could be available for the factory as old machineries were purchased and installed. My younger son Shyam Sundar completed his matriculation from Medical College School, Berhampur and +2 from Khalikote College, Berhampur then +3 Commerce and M.Com from University College, Berhampur and Berhampur University. He completed LLB and now practices as Advocate at Berhampur BAR. My elder son Kanhu married in the year 2018 and younger son Shyam Sundar married in the year 2019. My wife has been staying at Berhampur most of the times. She often visits Gunpur and staying in my Govt. Quarter with me. My two sons are staying with me and are dining in one mess with my wife.
His entire period of service i.e from 27.11.1982 (entry into service) to 24.12.2020 (till house search) has been taken into account while calculating her income, expenditure and Disproportionate Assets.
