Cops destroy 60 acres of illegal Cannabis Cultivation in Ganjam

Ganjam(Aska):On Friday at noon hours cannabis cultivation in over 60 acres of land in those area by the order of SP,Ganjam,Brijesh Rai to wipe out Ganja plantation in K.Nuagada under Patapur Police station.
Team of the Ganjam police including Inspectors of Dharakote,Patapur and Seragada with 2 platoon of police force rush to the identified spot and destroy Cannabis plants on over 60 acres and later set on fire under active supervision by SDPO,Aska Suryamani Pradhan to make those unusable.
According to the SDPO, Pradhan, the drive was carried out in the major cultivated areas and in today’s drive cannabis plants spread across over 60 acres were destroyed. The value of these crops in the market is an estimated more than 5 Crs.
