STF, Odisha Seized 153 Kg of illegal unfinished Precious Stones(!)

BHUBANESWAR:Odisha Police Special Task Force (STF), seized more than 153 Kg of illegal unfinished precious gemstones in Rayagada and one accused was arrested.
On Monday,STF busted a case of illegal trade and transportation of unfinished precious stones at Rayagada Town as a result of which one accused person namely Jitendta Kumar Behera was apprehended with huge quantity of unfinished precious stones like Ruby,Panna,Black Diamond, Cast Eyes, Moon stones,Amethyst etc.. Weighing 153 Kg.
The team seized one Toyota (Glanaz) and other incriminating materials were seized from his possession.
In connection a case has been registered at Rayagada police station by the STF u/s.379/411 IPC,r/w Sec 12 of Odisha Mineral prevention of theft, smuggling and other unlawful Activities act.1988.The investigation is On.
