POLICE HISTORY – HUGE SEIZURE OF ARMS & AMMUNITION BY ASKA POLICE IN GANJAM

BERHAMPUR: Group of Dreaded criminals arrested by the Aska Police in Ganjam district, Odisha.The Aska police, acting on a tip-off, catch a group of youths while they were involved in many murder attempts to murder robbery, extortion and dacoity.
Keeping in view, in a drive against crime and criminals a team was formed by Brijesh Rai, SP, Ganjam comprising of SDPO Aska and others. To be hedge the anti social activities and to curb robbery, extortion and dacoity cases the team conducted massive raids at different hideouts to nab the culprits. During such exercise many hard core anti social and property offenders were arrested.
The hard core anti socials were identified as;

The team have recovered 10 nos Country made Pistol(Mouser),53 rounds live ammunations,02 Swords,2 nos Knife,0ne Parshuram Kati (Axe), 2 nos of assault weapons made motorcycle Crank, 12 nos of Live Bombs, Four Bikes(One CBZ Xtreme,Honda Unicon,One numberless TVS Apachee-200 and one numberless Hero Glamour), 12 nos Black Masks, 2 nos Candle, Chilli Powder, match Box, Alcohol bottles, disposable Glasses,Ciggarate packets and 6 nos Mobile Phones.
SP,Rai told to scribe, we have seized numbers of arms and ammunitions and explosives from their possession. The arrested antisocial are involved in many murder attempt to murder extortion and dacoity cases. This special drive will continue to eliminate criminal activities to ensure a crime pre society.
In connection a case has been registered at Aska Police station U/s.399/402 IPC/4-5 ES Act,25(1-B) (a) Arms act.
