MINOR GIRL PARI MURDER CASE: IPS ARUN BOTHRA TO HEAD SIT

BHUBANESWAR:The state government today constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to be monitored by the High Court of Orissa to investigate into the alleged incident of murder of a five-year-old girl namely Amrita Sneha Sahu (Pari), daughter of Ashok Sahu and Soudamini Sahu of Jadupur village in Nayagarh district.
The government has selected a panel of senior police officers for the SIT which will be head by IG Arun Bothra. The other members are RK Dora, SP, CID, CB; RC Thamba, ASP, CID, CB; Narendra Kumar Behera, Inspector, CID, CB and Mamata Rani Panda, Inspector, CID, CB.
In a letter to Orissa High Court Registrar General, Special Secretary to Government Dr Santosh Bala said, “It is requested to kindly place the matter before the Chief Justice with a request to kindly accord permission to monitor the investigation of the Special Investigation Team by a Sitting Judge of Orissa High Court”.
