BERHAMPUR:On Monday at about 05 PM Priyaranjan Maharana,of Village Rathagada Sahi, Old Town, Dist-Nayagarh, Working as Computer Programmer in the O/o-NAC, Gopalpur,Ganjam has been caught red handed while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.2500/- from complt. Prafulla Ch Dash of Bhanjabihar, Gopalpur,Ganjam in a commitment to process the marriage certificate of his son Sidhanta Kumar Dash.
The entire bribe money of Rs.2500/- which he received in his right hand and kept the same in his dealing file on the office table has been recovered and seized. His right hand wash gave positive chemical reaction. The office room of the accused and his rented house at Gopalpur are being searched. Further report follows.
