ODISHA STATE GIRLS AND BOYS JUNIOR KABADI CHAMPIONSHIP CONCLUDED

Talcher,16/12/19:The 46th State Junior Kabadi Championship -2019 for boys and girls concluded at NTPC / Talcher Thermal withKhurda girls team lifting the champions trophy defeating KIIT team by score 39-25 and in the boys category , Cuttack team became the champion by defeating Jagatsingpur team by 46-31.
This auspicious event was organized by CSR department of NTPC /TTPS in association with Odisha Kabadi Association and Angul District Athletic Association from 12th to 14th December for three days in Shakti Stadium , In the 3days Championship total 90 league matches , pre quarter final, quarter final and semi finals were played. Huge audiences were present to witness the matches eagerly and cheerfully by encouraging the players both girls and boys. Total 17 girls and 25 boys teams were participated from different districts of Odisha.The trophy was handed over to the jointly by Jadunath Hansda, Addl. SP of Angul, D.N.Tiwari Group General Manager NTPC/TTPS, Kedar Ranjan PanduGM (TS), A. Sinha GM (O&M), AloisTapno AGM (HR) were present in the prize giving ceremony.
