GOPABANDHU JAYANTI IS CELEBRATED AT UTKALMANI HOMEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL

ROURKELA: Utkalmani Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital is the one of the finest Homeopathic college of Odisha has celebrated 143th Gopabandhu Jayanti in its college. At 10am Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Ratnakar Panda has initiated the celebration by offering flowers to the portrait of Utkalmani Gopabandhu. Then the celebration continued in the college meeting hall in presence of all Professors, office staffs and students. Prof. R Panda and other professors, Dr. B Sahu, Dr. Bharat Das, Dr. Sagarika Behera and few others have kept their speech on Utkalmani Gopabandhu and his selfless service for the mankind. Many other speakers have also enumerated his action and fight for the country and how he was praised and was recognized as a national figure when it comes to human service and patriotism. Gopabandhu was born on 9th October, 1877 and from his young age he had devoted all his life for the people of this country. Truly, he was a statesman. In the concluding speech Prof. Panda, Principal of the college vividly emphasized his social service, journalism, knowledge, act for freedom and moreover his leadership to bring justice for common people. He also said that during this pandemic time of corona it is an inspiration for all to come forward and to serve the needy and maintain a healthy environment for all. This is the best learning one can have. The entire program was well coordinated by Dr. Subhasis Sethi and gave the vote of thanks.
