HINDI DIVAS CELEBRATED BY ROURKELA STEEL PLANT

ROURKELA:Hindi divas is celebrated everywhere in India on 14th September to commemorate the language, Hindi as National Language and has been observed as Hindi Divas across the country. The same has been celebrated in Rourkela Steel Plant (SAIL) where Mr.Dipak Chattaraj, CEO, RSP was the chief Guest. This occasion was organized through webinar to mark the occasion and all senior officials of various departments attended the session. This communication through webinar is conducted looking at Covid 19 protocols. In his address Mr.Chattraj highlighted the importance of Hindi as Rajbhasha in the context of a diverse nation like India. He also said that the progress of the country is correlated to its language. The governance of any Govt. can be strengthened with the use of a common language which can link the general mass. With time it has been strengthened through user-friendly through different tools and software and availability of on-line sites. Hence, usage of the language can be seen in day to day official activities, he added. On this special occasion he has also released e-magazine ‘Rourkela Ispat Darpan’ to mark the occasion. Earlier Mr.Dhirendra Mishra, GM(PR) & CoC welcomed the gathering and gave a brief about the activities for promotion of Rajbhasha. Different messages sent by Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister,GOI and Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of petroleum, & Natural Gas and Steel,GOI are read out by different officials. Many top officers of RSP were present and they were P K Dash, ED(works), Pankaj Kumar, ED(Projects), Praveen Nigam, CGM(F&A) and many other GMs and HODs, Senior Executivess of different departments.
