IAS, CHAKRAVARTI SINGH RATHORE JOINS AS COLLECTOR, JAJPUR

JAJPUR,14/09/20:Young IAS Chakravarti Singh Rathore took charge as the Collector of Jajpur district On Monday.
Before joining Rathore visited Biraja temple here and took blessing from Goddesses Biraja.
Prior to this posting Rathore was previously the Commissioner of the Berhampur Municipal Corporation and during his tenure did many remarkable work which people of Berhampur city still remembering.

During his joining, IAS Probationer Sachin Power, Kalinga Nagar Additional District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Mishra, Revenue Additional District Magistrate Akshay Kumar Mallick and District Collector’s Special Officer Kulmani Nayak were present.
The Government of Odisha had recently enforced some transfers within the state IAS and OAS Cadre. A notification was published in this regard by the GA Department.
The state government had appointed 2016 batch IAS officer Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar as the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) Commissioner.
2007 batch IAS officer Ranjan Kumar Das was appointed as the additional secretary to the Odia Language, Literature and Culture department.
Similarly, 2011 batch officer Arindam Dakua was appointed as the special project direct of PR and DW department.
2013 batch IAS officer Madhusmita Sahoo was appointed as Deputy Secretary to Water resources department, while Chanchal Rana has been appointed as Balangir DM.
Besides, Chakravarti Singh Rathore, Siddharth Shankar Swain and Swadha Dev Singh were appointed as DMs of Jajpur, Angul and Nuapada respectively.
Similarly, Manoj Kumar Mohanty, OAS, was posted as Additional Secretary to Revenue and DM department. The 2016 batch IAS officer, Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde appointed as PD, DRDA, Ganjam.
While, the state government also appointed IAS officer J Sonal as the Gunupur Sub-collector, 2018 batch IAS officer Keerthi Vasan was appointed as Berhampur Sub-Collector.
