BERHAMPUR: Today around 11 AM basis on the intelligence input the Berhampur sleuths intercept much awaited Pradip Singh one of the master mind of Green India Multi State Credit Society from Ajodhya Nagar Nandighos apartment.
According to sources, in today’s success Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra,IPS formed an expert team led by Prabhat Routray,ASP and BP Pati SDPO City to interrogate in 360 degree outlook.
The dubious firm headquartered functioning in Berhampur had also swindled over Crores from around thousands customers in Odisha. Besides, the company had collected over Rs 30 crore from the people as per the source.
On Jan,2020 the Chief Executive of the Company Jitendra Kumar Mishra was arrested put in Chimimiri Police Station,Dist,Koria,Chatisgarh against their PS case No- 79/2016 dt.05/03/2016 u/s 420/34 IPC R/W SEC 4 & 5 Chit fund and money circulation Act and Sec 10 of Chhattisgarh protection of depositors Act.
Worth mentioning, Sunil Panda had pleaded guilty of all charges brought against him in the capacity of the director of Green India in a written submission before the court.
Chief executive officer of Green India Pradeep Singh and directors Sunil Panda and Jitendra Kumar Mishra have been charged under Sections 420 (cheating), 120 B (criminal conspiracy), 409 and 509 of the IPC. The CBI had filed its first charge sheet against chit fund group Green India accusing the company of defrauding depositors to the tune of at least `30 crore.
Wise to mention no doubt the Berhampur police became success in city. But all our efforts failed and when we could not able to mention number of pending cases from the IIC against Pradip, At last Prabhat Routray ASP stated around 4 nos cases are still pending.
