EMINENT PERSONALITY DR.RASABIHARI DIED AFTER PROLONGED TREATMENT

ROURKELA: Dr.Rasbihari Mohapatra, one of the leading personality Gayatri devotee, writer, social activist and a doctor known for his relentless selfless service is passed away today in Bhubaneswar while undergoing treatment in a private hospital. He had been successfully served Rourkela steel Plant hospital, Ispat General Hospital and recently after his retirement, he was posted by Sundergarh collector at Lathikata Primary Health centre. He was a popular personality in Rourkela and its periphery area for his selfless service and a life time member of Gayatri Parivar, Rourkela.
He was tested corona positive on 3rd August and been undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in Bhubaneswar. Since he had got the appointment from the collector and while discharging his service he got infected by corona, should be declared corona warrior and proper compensation must be paid to his family members, demanded by many of his well wishers and friends His wife is a lecturer and his son is working abroad. During this corona time he had been serving people in Lathikata PHC without any hesitation and been very popular for his soft behavior. Corona has gradually increasing its grip and taking many lives of doctors in the state and in Sundergarh this is the second case in ten days time.
