SUPPLY INSPECTOR OF NUAGADA OF GPT CAUGHT RED HANDED BY VIGILANCE WHILE TAKING BRIBE

BERHAMPUR,(Nuagada/Mohana):As an incident Sabyasachi Mahapatra Supply Inspector of Nuagada block of Gajapati strangulated red handed in the Govt. Quarter of one GPEO while accepting bribe of Rs.10,000/ on Monday from Siba Polai, Vill-Jahada, PS-Dharakote, Dist-Ganjam for passing of his pending bills towards Transportation of the PDS items.
The accused received the tainted bribe money in his right hand, counted in his both hands and kept the same in his money purse. His both hand washes and money purse wash gave positive reaction. The tainted money has been recovered from the accused by Vigilance staff of Brahmapur.
Sabyasachi was counting cash with his both hands scanned.That cash was paying by Siba for clearance of PDS bill.He kept the cash in his money purse & immediately Vigilance squad seized that amount of bribe money. Enquiry is ON.
