ENTRY & EXIT RESTRICTIONS IN BERHAMPUR CITY LIFTED, MARKETS TO REMAIN OPEN ON CONDITION

BERHAMPUR: Restrictions in entry & exit into Berhampur Mahanagr City have been lifted and markets will remain open till 8 pm,informed Chakravartysingh Rathore,Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
The civic body said the restrictions will be lifted with effect from Monday(August 24). The timing for markets has been extended from 5 AM to 8 PM during weekdays. However, the weekend shut down will continue till further orders.
Rathore has urged the people to maintain social distancing norms while going to market. All shops are now allowed to open from Monday to Friday from 05 AM to 08 PM instead of 05 AM to 04 PM.
The Commissioner tweeted that people must ensure proper social distancing norms while going to markets and use of face masks is mandatory.
