EMINENT TEACHER UMAKANT PANDA NO MORE (!)

Paralakhemundi:Umakant Panda, renouned & awarded retired teacher of Paralakhemundi expired last night.He was a child-centered teacher & had a great passion on child centered education teachings.Retired as Head Master from Jajpur UG High School of Gosani block of Gajapati & too reformed that school as a focus institution during his period as Head Master.Where parents ignored on quality education there he accomplished them to unite on sanctity of education which admired  to join backward students from tribal areas.He too exposed among those students to make class rooms as child centered one where students felt no cost on purchasing education materials.Wall itself a blackboard to invite students to practise their writings.On his post-retirement he too engaged on educational training imparted teachers,students,young mass to feel values of quality education.He too accomplished by state OPEPA(Odisha Primary Education Program Agency) & invited for state level training.

On his demise awarded teachers Binod Chandra Jena,Gopal Satpathy & Bichitrananda Bebarta, Aurobinda Das, Lingaraj Prasad Das, Gourachandra Panda   onveyed their condolence to bereaved family & gratitude to departed Soul.
