GAJAPATI:Yet another discovery and achievement by Gajapati Police to prosecute those Ganja looters while patrolling on dare-devil Covid-19.By the instruction of SP Gajapati Tapan Kumar Patnaik.
Sources, during patrolling in between Luhagudi & Chandiput,at Kalameri Mohona Cop stopped the Tata vehicle OD 05Z 9444 & cordoned on suspicion. While checking 13 bags of Ganja about to be transferred to Berhampur.In presence of BDO-cum-Executive Magistrate Bansidhar Khosla total ganja seized & weighed as 391.700 kgs which will be market cost about 30 lakhs.Owner of that vehicle Paul Pani and driver Anugraha Lima both belong to Ranalai village under R.Udayagiri Police limit arrested & case 129/20 registered at Mohana Police Station. Enquiry responsibility given to SI Sunil Kumar Dalai & they will be forwarded to Court as informed. Despite Corona jinx tracing & seizing on huge Ganja in Mohana block leaving no stone daring round the clock time.
