PDS KEROSENE SEIZED BY STF, ODISHA

Bhubaneswar:The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police Crime Branch on Monday achieved a major breakthrough in crackdown against illegal storage of PDS Kerosene Oil and seized from Manguli Junction outskirts area in Cuttack.
According to STF press release On Monday, basis of intelligence input a team of STF raided Maa Tarini Garage at Manguli junction connection with illegal storage large number of PDS Kerosene for the purpose of black marketing in higher price in open market. As a result the STF team seized around 42000 of PDS Kerosene Oil from the person Ranjan Kumar Behera,Nirakar Beura,Manoranjan Behera and BIdyadhar samal from Cuttack.
Notably this is the highest recovery of PDS K’Oil ever made by any agencies in State.
The team have seized as many as nine numbers of tanker, one Tata Mazic, three numbers of electric motors, one Honda genset,many empty drums, one Suzuki Car, plastic pipes Cash 29,700/- etc..
During the raid at the Proprietor of the Garage Bulu Behera who managed to escape from the spot.
