ODISHA CADRE IPS OFFICER PS RANPISE APPOINTED AS CRPF IG

Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer PS Ranpise has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He belongs to Odisha cadre.
A letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Odisha Chief Secretary on Friday said PS Ranpise will hold the post on Central deputation for a period of five years from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Odisha cadre IPS officer belongs to the 1995 batch and was serving as Additional Director General (Vigilance) in the state.
He held the position of Inspector General of Police (Odisha) in 2013.
