ODISHA CARRIES OF SEEDING TO CONTROL CLIMATE CHANGE EFFECTS AND TO INCREASE TREE OUTSIDE FOREST

BHUBANESWAR:This year Odisha government has introduced all over the state a special drive for distribution of Seedlings @ Re 1/ plant through Kiosks (cabins) in town and in Mobile vans in all Gram Panchayats,villages.
This was announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. For first time in Odisha
5 crore seedlings in 150 cabins and 200 mobile vans are being distributed to public at their doorstep.
“Plants are the heart of nature and destroying those leads to destruction of nature. It is everyone’s responsibility to save the nature. He added that people from all sections of the society will be involved in the drive,”.
