UNDER CURRENT OF GANJA TRANSPORTATION TO WB SEIZED AT MOHANA OF GAJAPATI

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Yet again at Ludur junction of Mohana-Luhagudi National Highway on patrolling Mohana Police seized a WB(West Bengal)where 14 bags of Ganja being transported.
On interaction with driver he exposed that those bags were to transport from Rayagada district to Asonsol of WB.About 468 kgs of Ganja would have costed more than Rs. 25 lakhs.Both driver Tapas Roy & Gautam Lo belong to Asonsol, arrested under section 20(b)(ii)(c)/25/29 NDPS Act.Both taken to Mohana Police Station.In presence of Tehsildar-cum-Executive Magistrate Kalyani Sanghamitra Devi,SDPO Ashok Kumar Mahanty, IIC Sujit Kumar Nayak,SI Sunil Kumar Dalai & staff had herculen task despite shut down & Corona jinx.Both miscreants wil be produced before court.
