FOUR MAOISTS KILLED IN EXCHANGE OF FIRE WITH FORCES IN KANDHAMAL

KANDHAMAL,(Phulbani): As many as four Maoists were gunned down during an exchange of fire between the ultras and security forces at Sirla forest in Tumudibandha area of Odisha’s Kandhamal district early this morning, informed SP Prateek Singh today.
Acting on a tip-off regarding a Maoist camp at the forest, DVF and SOG Jawans raided the spot.
The deceased Maoists have been identified as cadres of BGN Division of Maoist organization.
An exchange of fire broke out between the two sides, during which four of the Maoists sustained bullet injuries and died.Huge cache of arms and ammunition have also been seized from the place. Combing operation in the area has been intensified after the incident SP Prateek Singh informed.
