FIRST DEATH DUE TO CORONA IN ROURKELA

ROURKELA: The first death in Sundergarh district due to corona and that to it happened in Rourkela. On Wednesday one 64 year age patient was diagnosed with corona positive while he was undergoing treatment in IGH for advance treatment. Soon he was transferred to Hi-Tech Covid Hospital and there he breathed his last due to corona. It was the first death in Sundergarh district.The hospital was sanitized.
In recent news one pregnant lady was also tested covid positive while she was undergoing treatment in Sudha Nurshing Home in Basanti Colony, Rourkela. She was transferred to dedicated Covid-19 Hi-Tech Hospital for treatment. The entire area was sealed by the RMC authorities and the hospital was completely sanitized. One after another case in Rourkela has intensified the risk of spreading Covid-19, hence, the administration has warned everyone to stay home and to maintain all guidelines been extend to contain covid-19. Local administration and the police is now coming hard on the violators who are not following these guidelines and imposing penalty who are moving on roads without wearing mask. Local authorities in some sensitive areas are going door to door to educate about corona and its effect and how to keep them safe from this dreaded disease. The containment zone in sector-16 has been extended till 6th of this month because of some other associated activities to be conducted. This containment zone order was passed on 2nd July after finding a covid-19 patient in the area.
