LIQUOR MAFIA’s ACTIVE IN GANJAM;ONE KILLED SIX HURT IN ATTACK

GANJAM,(Khalikote):While one person was killed, six others were injured after associates of liquor mafia allegedly attack them at Pathara village in Ganjam district for opposing the sale of liquor in the area.
According to sources, the group was allegedly attacked by the mafia for raising voice against the ongoing illegal liquor trade in the area.
The group was intercepted by some miscreants and later attacked them with sharp weapons, said sources.
While three persons were admitted to Khallikote hospital, two are undergoing treatment at MKCG Berhampur and one has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
