DON’t HIDE CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS

BHUBANESWAR:: Chief Spokesperson for COVID-19, Subroto Bagchi has warned that coronavirus infection can be fatal, and the slightest of symptoms should not be concealed.
Addressing a press conference at Gita Govinda Sadan, here on Friday, Bagchi said that people should come forward to cooperate with ASHA workers who are conducting a door-to-door health survey.
The Chief Spokesperson said the door-to-door health survey will be carried out in each household in urban and rural regions of the state and the people should not hesitate to share their exact health condition with the ASHAs. He added that the survey will continue for 45 days until the end of this month.
Bagchi said: “Persons with COVID symptom will be sent to COVID care centre. If the test is positive, then the person concerned will be shifted to the dedicated COVID hospital. But those with symptoms will remain in home quarantine”.
The US has reported 52,000 cases in one single day while India reported 21,000 cases of coronavirus. We must be careful now to break the chain of the dreaded disease, said COVID-19 Chief Spokesperson.
