ONE MORE POSITIVE CASE DETECTED FROM BHAWANIPATNA

ARKABAHALIPADA DECLARED AS BUFFER ZONE
KALAHANDI:One 58 year old male of Bhawanipatna town has been reported positive at Bhubaneswar where he is there for health check up in a private Hospital.
He has a travel history of twice going to SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar and once to Bisamcuttack hospital by Bus for health check up between 17th June to 26th June.
On 26th June his SWAB was collected in SUM Hospital as COVID suspect and admitted in COVID Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
Contact tracing of the person and active surveillance of his locality here is going on. District administration has declared Arkabaheli pada area under ward number 10 of Bhawanipatna town in between Dayanidhi Chowk to old check gate on Bhawanipatna- Khariar road as a containment zone. 8 roads connecting this area have been sealed. 03 KMs radius of the containment zone has been declared as buffer zone.
However in the Covid Hospital , Bhawanipatna there is good sign with recovery rate reaching 92.9 % as on today. On Sunday 7 patients recovered and were discharged from the Hospital. Now only 5 patients remain in the Covid hospital under treatment.
