BASED ON INPUT BeMC DECLARES SIX LOCATION AS CONTAINMENT ZONES

BERHAMPUR: Based on input received from special teams formed for health screening on Sunday the Berhampur Municipal authority,(BeMC) have been declared as containment zones at six locations in city.
According to press release issued by BeMC Commissioner,Chakravartysingh Rathore,the identified locations are Sahu Colony-Ward No. 04, Bhaba Nagar 4th lane, Tulasi Nagar 6th lane, Bank Colony 1st lane near A.I.R Office, Gandhi Nagar 4th lane, and Burma Colony.
Notably, these areas were sealed on the basis of input received by the health screening team of Berhampur Municipal Corporation.
According to Commissioner, a health screening was conducted in the district. During this, few symptomatic people were found in these six areas under Municipal area. Following this, these areas were declared as containment zones.
As per the direction, no public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and the inhabitants within the containment zone shall remain in home quarantine till further orders.All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain under home quarantine. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately, he added.
The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the municipal corporation.
