SUBSTANDARD PMGSY ROAD CONSTRUCTION, ENGINEERS’ SUSPENDED

KALAHANDI:The road from San Kenduguda to Paikpada Via Jayantpur road under Dharamgarh Rural Works ( RD) Division in Kalahandi District is allegedly constructed substandard.
The said road with length of 15 k.m. 700 mtrs. is under construction by the Dharamgarh RW Divn. Under Pradhan Mantri Gramya Sadak Yojana ( PMGSY) scheme with an estimated cost of 4 crore 90 lakhs 65 thousand rupees.
The villagers alleged that the black tapping on the said road was very thick and after some days the same is broken out even by hand.
During its works the engaged Asst Executive Engineer Sumit Minz and the Junior Engineer Keshaba Nayak were silent and no reaction over the public allegation.
The Chief Engineer of Odisha Rural Works Department paid a visit the road site and basing on the public allegation enquired about the matter and found correct. On the CE letter no.12090/22.06.2020 the AEE Sumit Minz and JE Keshaba Nayak were placed under suspension.
