Kashinagar:89th Birthday of First Woman Chief Minister observed at Vanshadhar Pathagar of Kashinagar of Gajapati district.IIC Anand Chandra Patra graced as Chief Guest,South Odisha Literary Organization President poet Prasant Mishra as Chief Speaker & among others Hrushikesh Gauda,Manoj Kumar Choudhury,KRambabu on this occasion.Speakers lauded various contributions of first lady Chief Minister Late Nandini Satpathy not only as a politician but as a great literateur. Being the daughter of epic writer Kalindi Charan Panigrahi,she inhereted to revive her dynamism towards literary fields.Later on she entered in political arena & became first lady Chief Minister of Odisha. She was the pioneer of revival of agriculture & women empowerment too.At centre she was also as Union Minister on I&PR.That was a steward role under Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who later on inducted her as Chief Minister of Odisha.On every issue she showed her grit & openness to reach at people.Her husband Debendra Satpathy & son Tathagata Satpathy too inhereted her footprints in political circle. Undivided Dhenkanal district was her reign of power which still left vaccum such iron lady of that area.
