RAYAGADA’S YOUNG WRITER MAHIMA GANTAYAT WINS FIRST PRIZE IN ENGLISH STORY WRITING

Rayagada, October 27: Young writer Mahima Gantayat of Rayagada has secured first position in the English Story Writer category at the national-level Proficient Awards 2025, powered by Thane-based Poetic Essence Publication.
A budding literary talent since her student days, Mahima is currently pursuing her first year of Arts with Honours in English at Women’s College, Rayagada. Her creative pursuits span English and Hindi literature, alongside her talents in public speaking, poetry recitation and anchoring. Her recently published debut Hindi poetry collection, Ankahi Batein, has also gained considerable popularity, emerging as a bestseller.
