K. Nuagaon Police Arrest 14 in Gambling Crackdown; Rs.14,090 Seized

Berhampur, October 26, 2026: K. Nuagaon Police have registered two gambling cases and arrested 14 persons during raids at different locations within their jurisdiction.
Police registered K. Nuagaon PS Case Nos. 249/2026 and 250/2026 under the Odisha Prevention of Gambling Act (OPG Act).
During the raids, police seized Rs.14,090 in cash, four mobile phones and two tarpaulins allegedly connected with the gambling activities.
All 14 arrested persons were forwarded as per legal procedure, and the seized articles were deposited accordingly.
Police said the drive against illegal gambling would continue.
