SRC,ODISHA,CLARIFIED THERE IS NO PLAN FOR EXTENSION OF SHUTDOWN

BHUBANESWAR:Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Pradeep Jena today clarified that there is no plan for extension of shutdown in 11 districts beyond weekend and urged people to refrain from panic buying.
Jena’s response came in the wake of rumours doing rounds regarding the possible extension of the weekend shutdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Notably, the Odisha government has ordered complete shutdown on Saturdays and Sundays in the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Bolangir till June 30.
