Vigil stand by Gajapati District Administration at Landslide Areas of Gajapati District

Paralakhemundi(24/09/26):Monsoon severed & turned devastated at various areas during low pressure at Gajapati district.Terrain areas particularly hilly zone turned disrupted for communication.At Damadua of Mohana block communication blocked. Similarly at Jirango to Cheligada road too hilly stone patched up to disrupt communication.ODRAF team had hard & turmoil task to clear the road.
Similarly at Bastriguda of RUdayagiri due to debris communication completely cut off. There too ODRAF team sent for regularize communication by clearing road from debris.1300 families rescued from dangerous zones of several blocks as rescue operations.They are sheltered at various schools, anganwadi centres & panchayat offices.
Yesterday rainfall marked avarage 49.28 mm where maximum felt at Paralakhemundi 93.4 & at Mohana 64.8mm.At schools,anganwadi centres & panchayat offices kitchen opened for rescue families.Similarly maternity care women too shifted to respective Maa Gruhas of Mohana,Nuagada & Rayagada blocks run by Civil Societies.
At Gandahati too fast flow of water turned vigil stand for administration to stop visit to Waterfall for trespassers & visitors as precautionary measures.
Similarly at Kashinagar Vanshadhara river spat with 53.97 mm,where hardly 13 mm to reach dangerous level.There Collector visited with his team & checked rescue team.He visited Sara village, where kitchen opened for rescue families.
