REALS an NGO is working since long years at interior parts of Rayagada block of Gangabada & Kerandi panchayats.On last deadly Titli cyclone the staff faced lot of huddles to draw attention of those homeless families whose plight was at open air after turmoiled their cotteges at hill slope by land slides.This indeed a torrid moment to reach with much difficulties where communications disrupted by Titli.Warm up by Gajapati district administration for normalcy could moneavour their sting operations to reach at sufferings.They supported relief & cooked food where they praised by District & block administrations.

Again recent turmoil of Corona too a jinx to support them.Time to time Sensitizations on Corona by their staff also to villagers of Kerandi & Gangabada panchayats a remarkable feature.

Regarding Relief they reached to 770 families with 25 kgs of rice,2 kgs of dal,3 kgs of potatoes,2 kgs of onion,2 dettol soaps to each family of Gangabada & Kerandi panchayats.Distributed 2000 masks to 421 families at Gangabada also imparted health education on neat sanitation & hygiene,use of masks while going outside,time to time hand wash practices & importance of social distancing.All notifications from district administration they informed to villagers. Besides that to counter from migration importance of MGNREGS also informed.Facilities & reliefs from administration too acknowledged them.An adventure where panchayat at border of Andhra Pradesh & hard task to reach through inaccesable communications & their staff with the people.Contributions of REALS Director Dr.TBBanerjee Das & his Sree Laxmi Panigrahi Project Director  praiseworthy.
