Rubel Villagers Deprived of Voters Rights

Paralakhemundi,(11/08/26):At Rubel village of Purunapani panchayat of RUdayagiri block of Gajapati district, destiny frustrated around 40 families for their assigned voting rights.Earlier they were attached with Sialilati panchayat. After division that village enrolled under Purunapani panchayat,which is too at Ganjam district border.
Due to lack of minimum assured voters ID, they are loomed to get their minimum amenities & hardly registered under Social Security Schemes.Down with poverty jinx families hardly 3 to 4 capitulated Voters cards which they got on 1995.But as time running fast some of the villagers died.Their whereabouts, too,a traumatic situation that deserted not only their livelihoods but also failed to recognize their identity proof.
Not to say about their dilapidated housing under zinc sheeted roofing where they are seeing sunrays & stuffed with rain drops inside broken cottages. No attempts done to enroll them under housing,due to lack of domicile documents.
As SIR(Special Incentive Revision) process streaming at least their iota to ensure their legal rights in voters identity cards could have assured.While interacted with Deputy Collector cum Election incharge of Gajapati,Manoj Kumar Patnaik;he said that he would convince with Block Development Officer RUdayagiri to sum up their issues.Days back some of the villagers met the officials.If past documents could be collected then their legitimacy to get Voters Cards can be eligible,he added. Still he assured to go through their problems.Time will answer when their legitimate ground can be mitigated.
