CYCLONE “NISARGA” LANDFALL STARTS AT ALIBAG (!)

MUMBAI: Cyclone Nisarga is making landfall in south of Alibaug now with strong wind speed of 120-140 kmph, said the Indian Meteorological Department.
The IMD says that the process of landfall has begun and will be complete in a matter of 3 hours. Meanwhile, the authorities have closed the Mumbai Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
It will cross Maharashtra coast between Harihareshwar & Daman, very close to Alibaug between 1 pm to 4 pm.
The Nisarga cyclone is the second to hit India after Cyclone Amphan that hit the eastern coast of India a few weeks back.
The cyclone is expected to bring wind speeds up to 100-110 kmph gusting to 120 kmph, along Raigad, Mumbai and Thane.
