Paralakhemundi:On his arrival joined as Subdivisional Police Officer of RUdayagiri of Gajapati district,Rakesh Kumar Sahu IPS;mafias of cannabis lost their sleeping.His vigilant action to shatter their hidden den storage of toxic items.
His whirlwind patrolling dashed hopes on illegal sleuth from contraband ganja transportation both either inter or intra states.He randomly choked those mafias stock where even at hill trench or interior village or hidden transportation by vehicles on daylight or night,carrying 24×7 task with his team of RUdayagiri, Mohana & Adava Police Stations.
His taskforce mission blazed horror with rapid action team. Underground seizure of several tons of such toxic items sounded at state level,where DG Police’s honor of conferred Disc accoladed him at zenith.
A long profile of his achievement marked SDPO’s milestone after milestone.List eg;21 tons of contraband ganza seized with drugs worth 20 crores strangulated. Behind such scene 14 culprits including two PRI Members arrested,where 22 NDPS cases registered.
Using Satellite venture with local intelligence & on ground surveillance;his strategic plan to menance dark dragon successful.
Perhaps he is the only young IPS SDPO of state to be honored on state level. Strong mapping at 326(A) & 16 of National Highway on random checking of those vehicles could bring his glorious feat.
His journey is not smooth but a daredevil seizure with his team could thwart illegal mongers redtapism attempt.
His mission is not to destroy illegal narcotic items but to establish better livelihood venture among poor backward vulnerable community to show & enhance better livelihood through available resources.That enhanced courageous leadership,strong Policing, ever shinning energy with everlasting change.
